please don’t stare
at my corpse
it’s not me
just the shell
and remains
of a bad decision
i live in your heart
eternally
please don’t stare
at my corpse
it’s not me
just the shell
and remains
of a bad decision
i live in your heart
eternally
Finding myself in this version of me ...

Should I leave your space without offering a few of my “poor thoughts” on this poem, then I know I would carry that regret with regret. Rarely do I come across poets whose pen could sing, dance, and paint on one blank paper. Such powerful poetry !
